We process drawn spring steel wire, oil-hardened spring and valve spring wire, stainless spring wire, stainless steel, special materials such as Inconel, Hastelloy and other special spring steels (ERCO) with a diameter of 0.3 to 23 mm.
The special steels used by RÖHRS have a special reputation in the field of dynamic stress, impact stress, fatigue strength and corrosion resistance.
We process all materials as round and flat wire with rectangular or trapezoidal profiles. We manufacture the calculated spring wire profiles on our in-house rolling mills, which ensures fast order processing, high flexibility and optimum wire quality in terms of profile geometry and edge design. As early as the planning and design phase of a product, we incorporate our know-how and knowledge of materials in order to achieve an optimal relationship between product quality and cost-effectiveness.
We use specially developed manufacturing processes to extend the dynamic and static spring life and to protect against corrosion. We offer our customers the possibilities of thermal treatment, surface treatment and finishing.
